BTCB Contestant Eligibility

The following notice is for competitors regarding the BTCB tournaments.



All participants must be members of a National Taekwondo Federation, affiliated to the WTF. This membership must be proved by means of valid federal certificate of membership at the time of registration.



NOTICE FOR UK ATHLETES:



UK athletes who have finished in the top 8 (quarterfinal or above) of their respective Junior or Senior categories in either the 2008 or 2009 BTCB National Championships will be eligible to enter the 2009 British International.



Gold and Silver medalists from the Cadet Categories in 2009 will also be eligible to enter the Junior division should they be old enough.



UK Medalists, in a top 4 position, from the 2008 1st BTCB International Championships held in Manchester last November will also be eligible to enter the 2009 Event.



The organizers can award a wild card to an individual at their discretion. If you do not meet the above criteria but believe your deserve entry please email the organizers here stating your case.



Eligible athletes are not obliged to enter the same category in which they qualified a place, a full list of eligible athletes will be published on the BTCB website shortly.
